About Us... Northern Exchange Auctions offer a complete auction service for commercial, plant & equipment and agricultural machinery. We manage the whole process for sellers, from valuation to marketing and sale of an extensive range of Lots of all shapes and sizes. Our efficient administration department ensures an easy registration and buying process and offers a range of ways to buy.

Typical auction Lots can range from small tools and building materials to cars and commercial vehicles, heavy plant, construction and agricultural equipment. At Northern Exchange Auctions we aim to make it as easy as possible for you to buy plant equipment and machinery.
Our 3 acre site at Berwick upon Tweed has convenient links to the nearby A1 carriageway and East Coast Main Line railway. As well as hosting auctions at our Berwick upon Tweed site, we also conduct off-site auctions at sellers' premises through our Off-Site Auction Service, ideal for retirement auctions and cessation of trading auctions. We work closely with our auction partner, Bidspotter, to broadcast live auctions to thousands of active buyers worldwide.
We work with an extensive network of transport partners to assist with transport solutions for goods incoming to and outgoing from our auction sites, including goods for export.

Getting a Bidder Number

Bidder Numbers are unique to each auction and you must register for a Bidder Number before every Auction. You may register online, or in person at our site office before the auction. Please see our Registration Requirements for further information. By completing the Registration Form you automatically agree to be bound by our General Terms & Conditions and the Special Conditions of Sale.
If you intend to bid in person at the auction site, your Bidder Number can be collected from our site office on viewing days or on auction day.
